Comments: This is the best reel I have ever used. I originally bought it because it was a decent price and it looked really nice in the white colorway. After I got it, I realized it was a very smooth reel that holds up well. My favorite thing is that the fine-tune knob clicks, so you can adjust more precisely. This eliminates backlash a lot more than some other reels. I highly recommend this reel!

Comments: Great reel. Been using it for 2 years with no issues. Backlashes are very infrequent and mostly my fault. The only rub is that after doing some research, it looks like the Revo X is the exact same reel with just 2 more lbs of drag. If I knew this prior, I probably would have saved myself some money and got the X.

Comments: I have this reel for a few weeks now in a 7.1:1 and find it ticks all the right boxes for me. I have pulled some decent fish out of some heave weeds and really like the feel of the drag. Also, it casts very nice. I cant tell it from my SX as far as distance and lack of back lashes. In fairness, I have been ABU Garcia 'for life' since about 1978 so I am partial to their feel, but I have to say very pleased with the Revo S. Plus it looks great on my neon green rod.

Comments: This reel does exactly what it is supposed to. Makes long casts at a great price. I wish that Abu Garcia would have kept the centrifugal braking instead of going magnetic on the gen 4 s but that is just my preference. Great reel for the money and will be trying more gen 4 revos in the future.
